Nolstagia Jurong was an awesome event to host. I got to host for Deputy Prime Minister, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam. It was definitely my privilege to be speaking to such a distinguished authority.
The residents of Jurong swarmed to Jurong Green Community Club early for their goodies that comes with their tickets. Many fun games and activities were played to entertain the crowd. Not forgetting, the amazing food that we fell in love with as a child, such like Cotton Candy, Popcorn, Tutu Kueh and Muah Chee. I had a great time eating too, after the event of course. I must uphold my professionalism!!
The last activity of the day was a Lucky Draw. And the grand prize was a 32-inch LED TV. Excuse me?! How I wish I could bag home one of those prizes. I was resisting the urge to read out my own name with each entry haha!! But it felt so good to be Santa so early this year. Looking at the happy faces of the residents, I know that they surely had a great time reliving their nostalgia!!
